A Simple Way to Delegate

Overthinkers tend to hold onto everything…in their heads. Deep thinkers delegate so that they can free up headspace.

With that in mind, the question then becomes,

“How do I delegate?”

Which is a shorter way of asking,

“How could I possibly let go of this important thing that I’m so invested in?!”

Why it’s so hard to hand off the work

I get it. You want to let go, to be free of the task, but there may be one or several things that make that challenging. Such as:

  • The importance of the work

  • Your confidence about it getting done [ on time | on brand | skillfully | … ]

  • Lack of control once it is no longer in your hands

But what if you could confidently hand something off, in a simple way, covering all your concerns?

A simple tool can help

A simple way to quickly get all of the important bits out of your head might be what’s needed. The Delegate It worksheet aims to do that and more:

  • Give you space to think through your project or task

  • Articulate and organise all the key points, ideas, and concerns that may be loose in your mind

  • Help you communicate the most important information to the person who will carry out the work

  • Create clarity and a path to success for your work — with minimal involvement from you

  • Free you up to do anything else

Free your mind and your calendar
